Grand Palladium...wow...first visit to this resort was 2007 and we have returned annually ever since. Our 2019 visit thus marks our 13th year. One year we did their resort in Dominican Republic at Punta Cana. Although the beaches were fabulous it was not as enjoyable as their Mayan Riviera resort.
The Mayan Riviera resort property contains 4 different resorts: Kentenah, Colonial, White Sands, and Royal. This resort used to a have 5th resort called the "Riviera". But two years ago they did a huge rennovation and upgraded all the "Riviera" suites and made them part of the new expanded "Royal" or simple "TRS"(The Royal Suites) resort. During the 2017 rennovation they also added a Cabaret & Restaurant they call "Chic". Which is a three hour live show that is all around you while you are served a fabulous dinner complete with drinks, desert and more.... Truly an unbelievable show!!!
After so many visits we obviously know what we like and that is the Kentenah resort. The Kentenah resort is located on the north side of the property where the best beach is located. This year we received an upgrade to one of their junior suites and they delivered extras to our room daily: champagne(on ice), tequila, flowers, chocolate strawberries, mini muffins, Canadian ham and mellon balls, etc. etc. In other words, as always they spoil us and everyone thus we keep coming back because we like to be spoiled!!!!
